Every human is a unique being of light, a vibrating force that ebbs and flows within the pulse of the universe. The light, color and radiance that emanates in general situations and specific emotions communicate an ever abundant source of visual and emotional inspiration. I embrace the human experience and the amazing vessel that carries us on this journey. Capturing the energetic connection that holds every creature to one another as well as, what fuels these exchanges and individual interactions is my primary focus represented in a two or three-dimensional format.

I have a continued focus on growth in technique and knowledge of a diversity of disciplines. Depicting these vibrations, sensations, and visions as visual pieces translates to high frequency, rich, expressionistic portraits, moments, and exchanges on the two dimensional plane. Depictions of moments and individuals associated with the Burningman sub-culture are of high interest.

Within the three dimensional realm, I have been experimenting with taking sculpture off of the pedestal and hanging them on the wall creating a dynamic protrusion of body segments. Incorporating metal working and plaster molding into three dimensional expressions has enhanced the visual diversity of my palette. I plan to continue these explorations of segmented form within the world of ceramic building. Thus, continuing my pursuit of finding innovative and interesting alternatives to the figurative art viewing experience.

I seek a dichotomy of tension vs. fluidity, that in combination with vivid color treatment represent a specific instance experienced in either personal emotions or in the emotions that I perceive in those around me. The drive to express, to relate this obsession derives from the abundant field of emotional and energetic reference and the great conflict this society presents through its continued discomfort and exploitation of the human body, and the persistent dependence on rationalistic and economic belief structures.
